Cutting carbon emissions and reducing energy costs

• We can fund the replacement of lights with LED equivalents, reducing your electricity consumption.  You would then pay us a quarterly fee under a 'lighting services agreement'.  
• We can provide a solar PV system on the roof of your building at no cost to you.  Roofs need to be in a good condition, unshaded and preferably south-facing, though east-west systems may work. Projects are more viable if the building uses lots of electricity during the day, particularly in the summer. We need to charge you for the electricity generated which you use, but aim to match or beat what you currently pay and in the long term significantly reduce your energy costs.  
• We can provide biomass boilers for non-residential properties.
• We are interested in talking to farmers and other land owners who have land that could be used for wind turbines or ground-mounted solar PV.  

Working with us means:

• You have no capital costs for the installation of renewable energy and instead can fund insulation and energy-efficiency measures.
• You start saving money on energy costs as soon as the system is installed.  
• Our expertise in renewable energy helps you get the best system for your building.
• We take responsibility for obtaining any permissions required, contracting with the installer and pay for maintenance once it is installed.
• Once the term of our legal agreement with you is up (20 years for a lease) the system belongs to you.
  
• The money you pay us for your heat or electricity goes into your local community, not to a big energy company. 
• You help us to provide funding for local community projects which help people to live more sustainably.
